Break the walls of stagnation and climb to victory!

Hello there. I know it's been a while but for the past days I felt really spent.

So, I know I haven't done such a great job catching your attention or telling you what the hell is going on. I'll take this time right now to explain it all.
My name is John and I'm 19 years old. I'm from Romania and my dream ever since I was 10 was to make video games. At the time I was in love with games like Counter-Strike 1.6 and Halo Combat Evolved. Seeing as games like Call of Duty raised in popularity and having awesome things like sprinting and climbing systems, those were whole new wonders for me... so I started thinking ... how awesome would it be to play this super fast paced FPS game where you can sprint, slide, wallrun and just generally be super mobile, parkour your way around to victory and get the sickest shots ever.
That's when I downloaded unity and started learning.... it was a slow and painful process but it felt pretty nice. Around that time Crysis caught my eye, and I found the idea of super-armors so cool.
Sadly, a week later my sister decided to clean up the PC and deleted all my progress (by mistake (boy, I was so mad at her...)). That's when I pretty much gave up on my dream and just focused on playing games instead of developing them.

For the past four years I did kinda play around with game development and various engines but never worked on something seriously... well that changed about 4 weeks ago after running into a devlog on youtube.
The devlog of Raymond Cripps talking about his project, Project: Feline, sparked something within me... that's when I decided I want to make this... my dream for over 9 years.

So here I am, willing to make Project:Hunter. So... what is Project:Hunter exactly?

What I envision it to be is a fast paced first person shooter based around fluid movement and over the top action. Rail riding, ziplines, wallrun, slides, executions, crazy shots and more.

I took heavy inspiration from Titanfall 2, which for me is almost exactly what I dreamed of + giant robots.

So... what do I bring you today?

Reworked wall climbing!

Well, first... I re-designed the wall climbing to make it more versatile. Until now you could only climb walls that were tagged for wallrun, but after making the tutorial thing level, I realized that's an awful approach. So I designed it to work on anything that's tagged with a "climbable" tag.

BREAKING THROUGH!

Ok, ever since I first saw the Titanfall 2 trailer, there was one thing that truly disappointed me.

THIS PART RIGHT HERE!

I just wish I could do that in the game, imagine how awesome it would be to suddenly break through a wall and bash someone's head, then proceed to casually slaughter his team!

So yeah, I'll try to make my take on that. I really hope I'll be able to make all of this work out properly.

If you made it this far, I'd like to thank you. You're awesone! ♥
